The overwhelming majority of Americans today are generations removed from the farm or ranch. Those involved in agriculture have to work harder than in the past to make our case to lawmakers, regulators, the media, and the public. Maryland Farm Bureau helps us have a voice in the conversation and a seat at the table when decisions are made directly affecting our ability to operate.

Our leadership takes direction from you. Through our grassroots system, members at the local level choose what we work on. Members in all 23 county Farm Bureaus across the state discuss problems and issues, elect local officers, and send delegates to discuss and vote on state and national policy.

Through the grassroots framework and the professional resources provided by the Farm Bureau, your voice is amplified thousands of times over. Farm Bureau wants to hear your solutions to the problems facing agriculture, and we take pride in implementing those solutions.
